This non-commercial website comes as the result of a cooperation between members of the Krauland family on both sides of the Atlantic.

As we wish to diffuse information about Gottschee and the Kraulands as widely as possible, its access is free of charges, fees, etc. We do not ask for any membership either and want to insist on the so-called P2P ("Peer To Peer" or, as a derivation, "People To People") principle.

Due to the fact that it is a private website which is to remain accessible to a larger public, we would like to draw your attention to some important points.

• we stay clear from any contact of any kind with commercial genealogy services/companies, be they Internet-based or not. This even includes freelance collaborators of these companies;
• we do not give proxies to any third parties -be they natural or legal persons- to make searches, to do enquiries or to contact anybody on behalf of the Krauland family and/or with reference to this website;
• we do not give away personal information of any kind to third parties without asking you for your consent.
